Our recent travels...

Many of our consultants have been traveling to an amazing variety of destinations across the globe. These trips always bring valuable and important knowledge to our consultants which is in turn passed on to you - our clients. Whether visiting well-known monuments and tourist sites or getting ’off the beaten track’ in remote areas, nothing can match the knowledge and excitement of a place which is gained by experiencing it first hand.

Kay won a trip to Dubai which she describes as ’A city on steroids!’ Kay was amazed by the  extravagance of the city which is constantly changing and growing. One day Kay went skiing in the morning at The Dubai Mall, to swimming with Dolphins in the afternoon then enjoying a traditional feast in the sand-dunes at night!

Jacqui has returned from an educational to Canada. The Rockies were particularly picturesque and she had a wonderful time away exploring places such as Victoria, Vancouver, Lake Louise and Banff. Jacqui also ventured over the new Glacier Skywalk-a glass platform located 280 metres above spectacular glacier-formed valleys and rushing waterfalls. Whale watching in a zodiac off Victoria was her favourite experience. If you want to head to Canada Jacqui can now give you some great hints of what to do and where!

Nicole went on her first educational to Singapore and had a fabulous time. Some highlights included having breakfast with the Orang-utans at The Singapore Zoo, exploring China Town, Little India and Arab Street and enjoying a night river cruise from Clarke Quay. Nicole also discovered the wonders Universal Studios on Sentosa Island and sipped a cocktail at the top of the new Marina Bay Sands Hotel overlooking the city!

Jessie journeyed through Switzerland via Train and visited some of its mountainous peaks on a famil with Rail Plus and Switzerland Tourism. Some highlights included taking the world's steepest Cogwheel train to Mt Pilatus, the rotating Gondola at Mt Titlis and playing in the snow at Jungfrau. She also enjoyed the culinary delights of Switzerland

Anne visited the West Coast of the USA with Trafalgar. She particularly enjoyed wine tasting in the Napa Valley, meeting Mickey Mouse at Disneyland, riding a cable car in San Francisco and spending two days discovering Las Vegas's sights.

Katie spent a month travelling through East Africa with Intrepid on her holidays. Trekking through the Jungle to visit the Gorillas in Rwanda was particularly special. Apart from numerous other game drives to see lots of other animals including the Big 5, she also enjoyed white water rafting on the Nile, village walks, a balloon safari over the Serengeti, and scuba diving in Zaznibar.

Gabrielle won an educational to attended the F1 Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi late last year. Whilst in Abu Dhabi she also experienced a 4WDR dune safari with dinner in a Bedouin Camp and visited Ferrari World where she rode the world's fastest roller coaster.

Christine has returned from a 10day tour of Turkey with Kuoni Group experts. Chris visited Istanbul, Ankara, Cappadocia, Troy, Kusadasi and Galipolli. She loved the Balloon safari over Cappadocia and the amazing Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia in Istanbul. Visiting ANZAC cove and Lone Pine in Galipolli were a highlight especially with the 100 year anniversary coming up soon.

Sue enjoyed a very relaxing cruise up the Mekong through Vietnam and Cambodia. Sue particularly liked Siem Reap and the spectacular temples of Angkor Wat. She loved Myanmar where she cruised down the Irrawaddy and experienced the wonders of this amazing country. Most recently Sue travelled to China and cruised down the Yangzte river and is now an Asian River Cruising expert!

These are a few of the amazing destinations that our consultants have been visiting recently. Many new adventures are in planning and we will be updating you on their outcomes in our next update!

If you are interested in a particular destination, no matter how large or small, please drop in and ask if any of our consultants have been there. Chances are, someone in our office has!
